Our sourdough is slow-fermented using a live starter culture, not commercial yeast. That means the bread develops flavor over many hours — complex, slightly tangy, with a depth that quick-rise bread can never replicate.

We bake in small batches, which means every loaf gets attention. The crust crackles when you cut it. The crumb is open and chewy. It makes extraordinary toast, extraordinary sandwiches, and an extraordinary reason to slow down and eat something real.

Sourdough fermentation also makes the bread easier to digest than conventional bread. The long fermentation breaks down phytic acid and partially pre-digests the gluten — which is why many people who struggle with regular bread do just fine with real sourdough.
